After growing up in a small Wyoming town, living in California, Nevada and Utah, my family and I moved to San Antonio in 2004 to begin my career in education. I have served as an administrator in NEISD since 2009 and have been the proud principal of Redland Oaks Elementary since 2019. I have five children who attend NEISD schools, and I enjoy spending time with them.

Mrs. Katie Fox

Hello. I'm Katie Fox, Redland Oak's newest Assistant Principal. This is my 10th year in education, and I have spent the past eight years in Anchorage, Alaska. I have experience teaching special education at the elementary level and three years in leadership at the middle school level. I earned my undergraduate from the College of Charleston and my master's degree and principal certification from Liberty University.

I am originally from Smithville, Ohio, where I met my now-husband, Andrew, in the fifth grade. My husband is a Master Sergeant in the United States Air Force. We are about to celebrate our 13th anniversary. This past April, we welcomed our first child. While we are sad to leave the beautiful state of Alaska, we are excited to explore the great state of Texas, our new home.
